Jul 25, 2008 · That's because your 1.11b installation doesn't used the save folder in "C:\Program Files\Diablo II PlugY". If your 1.11b install were using its own "save" folder, renaming or deleting Diablo II PlugY's save folder would have gotten rid of your characters. To install extract the data folder to your pd2 folder, then on your plugy short cut right click>properties and add “-3dfx -direct -txt” to end of target line. I’ve also included a saved file that has a character with a few small charms.

Yes, I did like all the youtube videos show. Extrac 5-6 files into the PD2 folder and then put the plugy folder in the vanilla D2 folder. Then run Pluggy from PD2 as admin. Backing up save files is easy, just make a copy of your save folder, or the files inside with your character name, and move them back afterwards.
Note to OP: This is for 1.14d (also "Owner" would be whatever your computer profile name is). If you're running an older version for mods, it will be in your D2 directory, most likely C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\save\. 4. Reply. Share.

This is to prevent the online game launcher from overwriting the legacy files. It might be possible to duplicate the entire Diablo II directory on one computer and play that way but I haven't tried this. To switch seasons there are 3 steps: Switch the game files. Switch the save files. Switch the loot filter file.
Hey bro, created this account just to help you, i got it working with sven's glide wrapper pretty easily, after you first install svens and get it to work (including the changes in diablo.exe like compatibility to xp3, administrator) following the tutorial it's telling you to put -3dfx after the shortcut pathway, what i did was just placing the -3dfx not only on diablo 2 shortcut, but on plugy
